Rose Bundy My Story

When I was in elementary school, I met this girl named Korynn. She was very similar to me as an athletic tomboy. We got along great we were on the same soccer team and we hung out all the time. Then we started skateboarding together, until we eventually began longboarding. When middle school started my friend Korynn introduced me to her friend Brooke. Brooke was also very similar to us, however I had known Brooke for a well as she was on my basketball team for a while. I had never hung out with Brooke outside of basketball, until Korynn brought us together. We all clicked together really quickly and became three best friends. We all loved to longboard together, so we decided to start a longboarding group and post videos to YouTube in order to get sponsored by a large brand. My friends really got into getting better and practicing all the time. My abilities were not as good as theirs, so I decided to not focus on the longboarding part and instead the video part. I got my first camera and started editing video on window movie maker. I really enjoyed going out and filming them and then creating the video.  Then when people started asking me what I want to do for the rest of my life I said create videos. Who has fun basically watching and filming their friends do the fun activity. I was the person who had fun even though it was stressful buying the equipment and making sure batteries were charged and SD cards had enough space. Creating these Youtube videos were not easily and always fun to do, but I just loved the process. That is when I knew, I could do this as a profession for the rest of my life. Now as a College student majoring in Radio and Television production, I look back and if some of these things didn’t happen or happened out of order would I have found my real passion. I mean could I have found out I liked making video, but I wasn’t in the right environment, so I just shoved my passion aside. Any of these things could of happened different, but I am so happy they happen the way they did because I could imagine myself majoring in anything else.
